I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and had a good view of the Sea but could use some bathroom refurbishment. The service was excellent throughout our stay, even with reduced staff due to present health restrictions. The location was peaceful and right on the seafront, making it a perfect place to relax. The dining experience was good, but I missed having my tea from a teapot and a cup and saucer. Overall, a comfortable and friendly stay with beautiful views.

The rooms were light, airy, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for our stay. There was slight creaking from the floorboards, but that's to be expected in a hotel built 180 years ago.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, working hard to maintain good service despite being short-staffed. I felt well taken care of.
